“I am not violent. I am not malicious. I am a result.” This quote stood out to me as at this time i knew the narrator was death. Many people normally think death is the bad guy and the reason people die but he’s just the result from something else not the thing that made it happen.

“Your soul will be in my arms. A colour will be perched on my shoulder. I will carry you gently away” I love how he give a colour to everyone soul he takes away and how comfortable he makes it sound for something so uncomfortable.

“Just don’t ask me to be nice. Nice has nothing to do with me.” I don’t know why this just stood out to me, before this sentence in the book he was saying everything he is and it was all pretty good, but nice isn’t one and then i found out why.

“Each one an attempt – an immense leap of an attempt – to prove to me that you, and your human existence, are worth it.” the fact that death said that makes it more interesting and special (but i know its just a book)
